MUOTD -- Summer Pinks

So I was going to call this post MOTD but it sounded strangely familiar until I realised that MOTD is the acronym for Match of the Day and I'm not really a football person.

I don't normally wear that much makeup. I would love to be more outgoing with my choices but I am worried that I will look like a clown// spend too much money on stuff I won't even use// look like I'm trying too hard etc etc. I also never used to be that girly but especially since reading a lot of beauty blogs I have really wanted to experiment more and this is my attempt.

Ok so the pictures aren't great (I think its because I use an SPF foundation and primer which can give you a ghostly pale look and also because I'm not really sure what I'm doing - help much appreciated)

I am using my usual Revlon Photoready Primer followed by Bourjois Paris Correcting Concealer. I don't wear concealer all the time but I've been feeling extra tired recently and can't seem to get rid of the literally massive bags under my eyes. I then used No 7 Stay Perfect Foundation (sorry not sure of the colour but think its Calico)and to keep this in place I used No 7 Translucent Pressed Powder

Now onto my new Topshop products. Firstly I brought the face palette in Kick Start. I used the the palest colour on my eye lids to my brow and then used the next darkest colour on just my lids and the gold just above my lash line. I never wear eye makeup but was really pleased with the outcome. I then used the pink colour on my cheeks but the coverage wasn't great and I prefer my usual pink blush. On my lips I then used Topshop Lip Bullet in Covet. I loved the colour and the easy application.

What do you think of the new look? Any tips much appreciated
